Boda Maine – Thai Kitchen & Bar

Boda Maine – Thai Kitchen & Bar

Thank you Boda for compensating our meal.  As always all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

When traveling food is typically number 1 or 2 on the list… right? Where my foodies at? We recently went to Maine, my home state. While visiting we searched out some of the best food spots that locals raved about and although Boda Maine isn’t the typical “Maine seafood spot” it’s a must try!

Boda ~ Thai Bar & Kitchen

So what did Boda look like?

I don’t like to get too wordy so I’ll let my photos do most of the talking. In a nutshell Boda has a rustic, industrial and cozy feel. I know industrial and cozy don’t typically go hand in hand but it works here. You walk in and there is a wall of chairs for the waiting. Past the hostess desk there is a bar and some tables for seating. If you walk up a few steps there is more seating and options for larger parties (such as ours). We came with 4 adults and 1 toddler.

The food and drinks were off the chart amazing! The menu is also marked with what items are gluten free and which are not. Big bonus for the GF foodie!

The skewers are a must try and majority of them are GF.

The Pad Thai comes in a thin egg omelet which was a really cool presentation and flavor.

If you haven’t had duck, try their duck! It’s phenomenal and so is the sauce. My step dad has traveled a lot and he couldn’t stop raving about it.

The fried rice with crab and shrimp was delicious!

The Kee Mao Noodles was one of my husband and step dad’s favorite dishes we had. If you like basil, this is for you!

If you love Thai food you MUST visit Boda when in Maine.
