Homemade Tortilla Wrap Recipes

Homemade Tortilla Wrap Recipes

Finding CLEAN ingredient tortilla wraps that fit our budget is basically non existent. That is why I started making my own.

These are super easy to make. My advice, make a double batch. You can store extras in the refrigerator for later in the week or freeze for longer storage. They thaw out easy on the counter or you can warm them up on a pan to give a fresh off the stove vibe.

I love these because they are soft, chewy and don’t rip!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup warm water

Recipe:

In a mixing bowl combine flour, salt & baking powder
Next mix in the olive oil & then mix in your warm water
Mix until a ball is formed & it’s not too sticky
Mix with hands to smooth it out (1-2 mins) This step is so important because it helps you get those bubbles.
Make a large ball & divide into 8 pieces
Cover & let sit for 15-20 mins
Roll out each ball as thin as you can without making holes
Cook on a lightly greased stainless steel pan or my favorite (on a cast iron pan) on med/high heat for 30 sec-1 min (basically until you see bubbles) then flip & cook another 30+ seconds
Keep them covered with a towel as you make a stack so they stay warm & soft.
Refrigerate or freeze for a later date.

Enjoy!!!
