Easter Basket Ideas

Easter Basket Ideas

Easter is almost here! I feel like jelly beans, chocolate bunnies… or chocolate unicorns (as we have shared before) are definitely going to be in your home & your child’s Easter basket. What I want to know is, what have you planned to add to their basket, that isn’t candy?

I’m sharing some of our favorite non candy ideas with you all.

Some of the linked items are commissionable links. These small commissions help to pay fees to keep this blog running.

Play/Dress Up

Sarah’s Silks

Sarah’s Silks has the most gorgeous hand died silks, cotton cloths, dress up pieces and fort building supplies. We used a silk inside Izzy’s basket this year as the grass. It’s just an extra surprise for her to enjoy. So it doubles as grass and a new silk to use for play.

Poe Pie Kids

Poe Pie Kids has so many types of necklaces and can create custom pieces. We have been getting Izzy necklaces from this shop for years!

Bright Box

Bright Box creates adorable little themed boxes filled with homemade play dough & themed goodies. We love activity kits like this because they can be used over and over, even after the play dough dries up. You can continue to use the kit to explore and create with new play dough. You can even get custom boxes for birthday party gifts!

Toadstool Tea Parties

Toadstool Tea Parties has some of the most adorable handmade wings I’ve seen. The quality is amazing and they straps can be adjusted to be worn by adults and kids. They have more than just butterfly wings, you can also get fairy or dragon wings.

Three & Bea

The shop Three & Bea has various washable play food & more. This shop can also take custom orders and she is so talented, she can crochet just about anything. We love the play food for Izzy! I even use some of the pieces as seasonal home decor.

Schleich Figures

We have loved Schleich figures for years. They are so realistic looking, quality & inspire pretend play. We have even used these as great birthday party gift ideas. They are cute as cupcake toppers as well, then the kids can take home the figure that was on the cupcake they ate.

Functional Gifts

Olive Wren

These Olive Wren bags are great for snacks, toys, art supplies and more! This shop is always coming out with new fun fabrics for her bags. You can also choose to have a zipper or button. Follow her facebook page to see past and upcoming bags.

Munchie Mug

These Munchie Mugs are seriously the best invention! The opening in the top allows for toddlers and kids to snack inside and outside without spilling their snack everywhere! The tops also come with a cover, if you need to close up the food inside.

Spring Sneakers

The snow has mostly melted, so we are wearing boots and sneakers for outside play. We have had Izzy in Pediped shoes for years. I think I learned about the company, around Izzy’s first birthday and we have been loving them ever since. Child and baby foot health is important & Pediped shoes are created with that in mind. Their shoes have been designed by podiatrists, which is one of the reasons why we have found this brand to be some of the best in baby shoes & of course kid shoes.

I hope you all got some fun ideas from our favorites list.
