You all have been loving my try on seasons via Instagram stories so I’m going to start pulling more blog post together for you all with fashion. This way you can pin it and reference it again later. So lets start with how I’ve been styling my boots now that the weather is starting to get cold! I wanted share some fun ways I like to style my functional and fashionable boots and clogs. Most importantly all of these looks are comfortable! Being a mother to a 3 year old, I’m all about finding fashions that keep me feeling confident and comfortable. After all I’m constantly running around with and after my daughter. HA! #MomLife
Corduroy Pants | Tall Duck Boot | Faux Layered Sweatshirt | Lightweight Patterned Earrings
First up in this look, these Tall Duck boots! I love these boots from Jambu & Co. called Colorado Encore Boot. They keep my feet cozy and warm even in wet weather. The boots are waterproof vegan upper, neoprene and rubber. They are easy for me to just slide into. If you have larger calves there is plenty of room in these boots. They have a zipper as well to make getting on and off easy. Jambu & Co. makes some seriously comfy boots for women. Use discount code: BUSY18 for 15% off (good until11/15/18)
The thing I love about Corduroy, it can dress up a look that may have otherwise been dressed down. I also find them to typically be much warmer than denim. If you are not comfortable wearing lighter cords, then mustard, burgundy, green, brown or black are perfect as well.
Sweatshirts are a must in my closet! The thing I love about the style I’m wearing is the faux layered look. Having a ton of layers can be annoying to take on and off and get bulky. I also love tops with a long length, giving a tunic feel. Why do I want length? I am always bending over to pick of my daughter, play or clean up toys.
I have super sensitive ears and after having my daughter Izzy, I was struggling to find earrings that were comfortable. Willow Elizabeth is literally all I wear since finding them. They are so lightweight and comfortable. When wearing tops that are mostly solids, I love pulling out my patterned earrings to bring extra details to the look. I even have a discount code, you can use to save 15%: ERYKA15
Moto Spanx Leggings | Duck Boot | Tunic Thermal | Bralette | Patterned Earrings
A more traditional duck boot is of course going to also be a must in my closet. These Jambu & Co. Ontario boots come in a few fun colors. I love them because they are adorable with a loose and untied look, however I also love to tie them up as well. The Ontario duck boots are nubuck vegan and have a rubber upper. They are cute, but also functional! I mean, I like to have my cake and eat it too! hehe! They have kept me cozy when it’s cold, which may be due to their microfiber terry lining. Use code: BUSY18 for 15% off (good until11/15/18)
My leggings are Spanx. I honestly don’t think I’d go back to any other kind. They keep me feeling tight are easy to move around in. For this outfit I chose my Moto leggings, however I think the camo style Spanx leggings would also be adorable. I have them on my list to get.. gimme all the Spanx! haha! I will say, I do love how these Moto leggings bring an edgy look to these casual boots.
Tunic thermal tops are perfection this fall and winter. I really have been loving the front tie look. I think it gives more dimension to a thermal top, which traditionally is pretty plain. This thermal also has some faux buttons and a loser fit so you can work on your winter bod. hehe! Can you say apple cider donuts? One of my favorite shops, Ruthie Grace, has multiple options for this top. You can use my code: ERYKA20 for 20% off your purchase.
Bralettes are a must in my wardrobe, especially with my growing obsession for long loose tops. I love a comfortable bra and the fact that I don’t have to worry if the start shows, um total win! In fact, it’s encouraged with bralettes to allow the strap to peek out. One day at Costco I stumbled upon Felina Intimates Bralettes. I bought and pack and my obsession grew from their. I have two of their styles the Abbie Bralette with contour pads and the traditional Lace Bralette. You can save with my code: Eryka15
Again, more Willow Elizabeth earrings. I told you that I only wear Willow Elizabeth earrings now. You can save 15% off your purchase with ERYKA15.
Spanx Leggings | Wedge Booties | Slouchy Sweater | Bralette | Lightweight Earrings
Alright last look for this post! These little booties are fun because they are little dressier than the other two and even have a small heel. These Jambu & Co. Mila booties are another staple for the cooler weather. The Mila is a wedge style bootie that comes with memory foam footbeds, SOOOO comfortable & Terra traction. If this color doesn’t suit you, there are 4 others to chose from. I’m short and my husband is tall, so it’s nice to have some heeled shoes in my wardrobe. This heel is just enough to give some height to create a more dressy & feminine look, without jeopardizing my ability to wrangle my 3 year old. Use code: BUSY18 for 15% off (good until11/15/18)
I love tighter bottoms with this style boot, which is why I went with Spanx for this look. These are the newly released gray Moto style Spanx. I love the gray because they can easily be paired with brown or black.
My top is a slouchy sweater. This style to me goes perfectly with these Mila booties. It’s borderline casual/dressy, feminine and comfortable, just like the wedge booties. You can find it over at Ruthie Grace in multiple colors. Save 20% with ERYKA20.
Yes a bralette again, 90% of the time wearing one of my Lace Felina Intimates Abbie Bralettes or one of my traditional Lace Bralettes. You can save 15% with my code: Eryka15 I love the cute peek a boo look with a slouchy top.
Lastly I finished off this look with my Willow Elizabeth earrings. I love their woven and patterned styles for fall and winter. You can save 15% off your purchase with ERYKA15.
I hope you guys found this helpful when planning styles with your boots during these chilly months.
