Spring cleaning has begun! I’m going in closets and fighting my inner hoarder to reduce the amount of things that accumulated over the past year.
I’m giving you guys 3 simple tips for stress free cleaning from a busy mom’s perspective.
1. Pick 1 Room At A Time
You don’t want to hop from room to room or you can lose track of what is completed. It’s best to create a little list for 1 room, check it all off and then move on to the next. I started with the kitchen because I cook so much that I knew it needed a good scrubbing. These new Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes with Ultra Strength Blue Fibers were seriously a life savor. The blue fibers give an extra bit of scrubbing power to help cut through grease, crumbs, and stuck on messes… which we have a lot of between my cooking and a toddler in this house. Which brings me to my next tip!
2. Keep Your Eyes Peeled For New Cleaning Products
The NEW Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes with Ultra Strength Blue Fibers are great for cleaning stainless steel, sealed granite, finished hardwood, tubs and shower walls, toilet exteriors and more! I’m always looking for new products that can be used to make cleaning easier and can be used to clean multiple things.
You can find these amazing NEW Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes with Ultra Strength Blue Fibers at Walmart.
For all my visual peeps, here you go:

3. Clean 1 Room A Day
Don’t overwhelm yourself! I don’t know about you, but with a toddler, I can clean a room in the timeframe Izzy watches an hour long movie. After that, she wants my full attention!
4. Declutter & Throw Away
Being a big hoarder, I mean guys.. I have pants from high school in my closet. I know it’s bad, I have a hard time letting go of things. But my hubby has helped me through the years and I have certain times of the year that I let go of clothes, and nick knacks or toys that have collected in closets. It honestly feels really good and I donate my clothes so those in need can benefit.
5. Listen To Music
I like to jam out a little bit when I clean. It makes it fun! I listen oldies, new fav tracks.. I mean guys, if it’s not Mickey Mouse Clubhouse for once… I’m pumped!
Alright guys, it’s that simple! Stick to those steps and keep cleaning a fun and easy thing.
