Vintage Automobiles Nursery Reveal

Vintage Automobiles Nursery Reveal

Thank you to these shops for collaborating with me on this charity nursery and gifting items. Thank you to Delta Children and DaVinci Baby for sponsoring this post. As always all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

My girlfriend and neighbor Anita woke up in the night with pains and weird feelings in her legs. Her husband rushed her to the hospital and the next day she was paralyzed from her navel down. With lots of testing they diagnosed her with a form of MS called transverse myelitis. When I heard all of this I could hardly wrap my head around it. She was pregnant with her first baby and now also paralyzed.

I immediately reached out with potential nursery decor ideas and started planning to decorate her nursery. I wanted to help her have a beautiful nursery for her baby boy. Every mother deserves that and I knew a lot of money would be going toward her hospital bills, her therapy and further testing.

Currently Anita is doing well, they are now thinking it can’t be the MS they originally thought since she had multiple episodes. (The paralysis came on multiple times, yet she never really improved in mobility.) So the testing continues! Baby Van was born a month early and stayed in the NICU for the first month of his life. They are both home now, which makes my heart happy.

So here it is, the nursery reveal!

The Nursery

Crib- Delta Children | Custom Rustic Wood Wall Art – Tracy’s Fancy | Vintage Car & Plane Mobile – Just Born Baby

I love the way the room came together and using the simple gray crib from Delta Children helped keep the vintage/rustic look we were aiming for. This crib is great because it later turns into a toddler bed. We loved having this feature on Izzy’s crib as well. If you are a new parent consider that when looking for a crib. The crib is sturdy, quality and fits standard crib mattresses. I love this style because it’s simple and easily shows off the crib skirt and bedding. It was also super easy to add the mobile to it!

Baby Monitor – BabySense | Crib Skirt & Vintage Car & Blanket – Just Born Baby | Rug – Lorena Canal

A little about this BabySense monitor, because it’s more than just a sound and video monitor. This device collects movement and activity. It gives concerned parents (all of us) the ultimate peace of mind. The monitor offers movement sensor pads which track baby’s movement. If no movement is detected after 20 seconds you will be alerted. This monitor is ideal for a newborn infant or a young baby who is starting to reach and explore. Once you hit the early toddler years you can remove the sensors.

Sleep Sack – ergoBaby Pouch | Sheets – QuickZip

Basket – Spectrum Diversified | Diapers & Wipes – Bambo Nature | Blocks – Smiling Tree Toys | Bow Ties – Sweet n Swag

I filled the basket above the changing area with Bambo Nature diapers because they are the diapers we use and trust. Being an influencer I was lucky enough to try a pack out and quickly became a huge fan of how soft they are. They also hold in blow outs better than any diaper we have tried. If that’s not a parent win, I don’t know what is. I wanted baby Van to start off, with in my option, the BEST diapers. Now we are brand ambassadors for Bambo Nature and loving the training pants as Izzy continues to work towards being fully potty trained.

Dresser/ Chasing Table – DaVinchi Baby | Changing Pad Cover – Copper Pearl

When I picked this dressed I knew I didn’t want a matchy matchy look. This rustic gray wash dresser from DaVinchi Baby was a perfect fit with the gray crib from Delta Children.  You can take the top piece off once the baby no long needs a changing area and use the area as a typical dresser top.

I wanted to bring some mature pieces into this nursery, which is why I chose this blanket. It’s soft, quality and a great throw for any room.

Large Gray Measuring Growth Chart – White Loft

Dock A Dot

You guys know we a Dock A Tot obsessed! The smaller size is great for tiny babes to have a place to lay around the house.

Wooden Car and Puzzle – Smiling Tree Toys

The most gorgeous custom wooden toys! Izzy has the same puzzle and we LOVE it!

Metal Baskets – Spectrum Diversified | Cloud Play Yard – Skip Hop

Izzy had a skip hop play yard that In swear she LIVED on for the early months when she was working on reaching and holding her head up. It’s super easy to unsnap and throw in the washer too. #momwin

These pjs are the bomb! They zip in-between the legs for an easy night time diaper change!

Cloud PJs – Zippy Jamz | Personalized Onesie -Stuck On You | Shoes – Pediped

Gray Baby Carrier – Lille Baby

Hands down the most comfortable carrier I have held Izzy in! I’ve tried many brands and Lille Baby is by far my fav!
