My New Year Resolutions That Reduce Stress

My 3 New Year’s Resolutions
When the new year comes, it’s a great time to sit down and reflect. What changes would I like to make this year. Maybe you need to slow down with work and focus more on family. Could be as simple as making sure that you get 30 mins of me time a week.
I always reflect on myself and what I want for myself in the new year, what I want for my family and think about what things could make me an even happier person. Stress is a given for everyone, so it’s a great time to think about how you can do little things to reduce that for the following year.
So here are some things I’m going to focus on this New Year!
1. Sign Up At A Gym With Childcare
Man it’s just not easy getting to the gym before my husband leaves for work or after dinner. I’m also sick of planning around an if Izzy decides to nap and my husband is working from home I can workout. Time to bite the bullet and leave my gym that doesn’t have childcare. Mama needs me time and gym time! No joke, I’m going before the New Year starts because I’m getting that routine rolling really.
2. Handle The 401K Like A Boss
I was lucky enough to stumble upon blooom. It’s a company that specializes in affordably managing your 401K easy peasy! Finances and planning out for your future can be super stressful without guidance. Come the new year we are going to try it out, you guys can take a look here and check it out for yourself. From everything I’ve read blooom is simple. They give you unbiased financial help with your 401k. Which in return will free up that time you were taking to research information about your 401k and what to do with it. Then you have more time to spend on hobbies or with family.
3. Create A Weekly Schedule
I have a planner that maps out my work, but I want to better plan the days each week so nothing is weighing down on my shoulders. I want to visually see the day & know their is a time marked on the calendar to get each task done. Being a working at home mommy there are a lot of things that fall on my shoulders. When I worry, I can’t give Izzy my full attention and she deserves it. So along with mapping out work, I want to map out activities with Izzy. I plan write down upcoming outings (like playdates at the park), plan art days (i.e. every Tuesday) and even a specific time of each day we work on specific academics through play.
So that’s it! Work out, plan our finances with the easy support or blooom and create a weekly schedule!

Great ideas! I am very intrigued by the 401k info blooom provides.
It’s super interesting! They have great videos on the site. I’m excited to try it out soon
I totally need to sign up at a gym with childcare, I think I could use a little time to myself…and getting into shape couldn’t hurt either!
I went today! It felt amazing! Do it!
Yaass! These are soo good! I really need to focus on saving better so appreciate that one extra!
Girl! Yes!
I agree with all of these. Especially the 401k having that handled put me in a much happier mind space. Also, the gym with childcare sounds amazing!!

The gym has been awesome! Already started on that one
I need to do all of these- I’ve been looking at a good gym that has 2 free kids daycare- plus I’ve been looking into that blooom and I think we are going to do it.
Yes! Yes to it all!
Besides number one, I need to hop on the rest of these goals, too. I DO have to say that working at a gym with childcare is THE bomb!
It’s been great! Loving the gym already
