Gross Motor on A Rainy Day

Gross Motor on A Rainy Day

Thank you EZ Play Toys for sending this amazing Panda Playground. As always all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

When thinking about your child and what they will need for development and be prepared for school people often thing math skills, reading or science. Guys development goes beyond all of that! Gross motor skills are so important. Not to mention when a child is moving and playing they are learning things you may have forgotten are crucial.

Gross motor skills allow children to perform everyday tasks. Such as walking, running, jumping, climbing, skipping, hitting a ball, showing, catching and swimming. To build these abilities and muscles we must practice through play.

For a mother like me who works from home, I now have an option that allows Izzy to blossom with her climbing and problem solving skills.

EZ Play Toys

I stumbled upon EZPlay Toys on Instagram and fell in love with the colors, options of 2 play sets and how they fold up to store easily when not in use.

Rainy days, too cold, too hot… doesn’t matter! This indoor play set has been keeping my Izzy busy and improving her hand eye coordination and strength. When I help her climb the rope area, she is constantly thinking where her next hand or foot should go. Now there she is working on her cognitive skills.

The swing is a great way for children to relax and swinging is often used in a lot of occupational therapy for young children.

Izzy is learning independence, courage and building her self esteem. I tell her, “You can do it, I’m right here.”

I love how easy this is to take down to store and then put back up! We are loving the Panda playground!

Think the Panda is too small for your kid(s)? Check out the Koala playground, it’s made for older children.
