Maine Eats ~ Portland Pie Co.

On our trip to Maine, in between all the lobster, I was craving pizza and now that I’m gluten free I haven’t had anything good yet. We found a place called Portland Pie Co and let me tell you, the gluten free pizza was AMAZING! Most gluten free pizza crusts taste gritty. This was soft and chewy and perfect!
Beyond that my family loved the regular pizzas and really enjoyed trying the different pizzas they had available.
The inside of the Scarborough location has brick walls, a bar and seating is mixed with high tops and booths. There are TVs all around so it’s a great place to eat if you like sports. They also have a lot of fun beers including GF styles as well. This is a mixed pizzeria and pub feel!
The staff was super friendly and helpful when we asked about different pizzas and what crust (basil, wheat, garlic or beer) would pair well with the different specialties.
