If you have been following along on the blog or on one of my social media channels than you know I’m an educator.  I was getting my degree in Marketing and quickly changed after one summer job working with a child with Autism. My life really changed forever. From there I began working with many children with Autism through my own form of play therapy which helped them to work on social skills and speech.

On my journey to becoming a Birth Through Five Educator graduate I met Jackson. One of the schools I worked at during one of my practicums had a blonde curly haired little boy. He was just diagnosed with Autism. He was only 2 at the time. Jackson was non verbal & made no eye contact. The school asked me to work with him every morning one on one. I soon met his mother and was asked to come in home and continue working with her son.

Jackson & his mother Jennifer quickly became family to me. Soon, over time Jackson started to engage with me. He started requesting games that I played with him and he started speaking again. Okay enough backstory because I’m getting all teared up and that doesn’t make typing very easy.

Jennifer recently decided it was time to get Jackson his therapy dog. What you don’t know about Jackson is he has very high anxiety and being a person who suffers from generalized anxiety disorder I feel for him. Therapy dogs are trained specially and extremely expensive.

The leggings for kids and adults are so freaking soft and adorable! They have patterns for everyone and if that’s not your thing.. they have just plain colors as well. Love Mommy and me? She has mommy and me leggings already and some dresses coming soon!

LuLaRoe has so many styles for women! Leggings, tops, jackets, skirts and dresses! I haven’t tried on every style, but I plan to!
