Homemade Fruit and Veggie Ice Pops with Nuby

I received the Nuby product for an honest review. This post contains affiliate links (with a purchase a small commission can be made to help keep this blog going). As always, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
The dreaded fight to eat veggies has been going on for some time now. I’ve had moms say to me, “We did baby led weaning so we don’t have those issues.” Um no, first off.. that’s kind of mom shaming and secondly your kid just happened to be one of the few who didn’t go through a picky phase. Izzy was eating EVERYTHING at one point. Ah those were the days. Anything I put in front of her she tried and I think the only thing she didn’t like was avocados.
Now I offer veggies on her plate every meal but It’s not guaranteed she will try it or eat it. You are actually 90% guaranteed she will play with it and not eat it.
So what’s a mom to do… A MOM HACK of course!
Izzy is obsessed with “Ice Pops”.
In order to add veggies back into her diet I have created smoothies, to veggie infused apple sauce to veggie and fruit ice pops. Today I’m sharing how to create delicious veggie filled ice pops.
Homemade Fruit and Veggie Ice Pops with Nuby
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 banana
- 1 cup frozen fruit
- 1 tablespoon frozen peas
- 1/2 cup spinach
- Nuby garden fresh fruitsicle tray
Instructions
- In a blender add all ingredients.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour contents into Nuby garden fresh fruitsicle tray.
- Freeze.
- Enjoy!

This recipe makes enough for 3 Nuby garden fresh fruitsicle trays. We put the extra in the fridge to freeze the next day since she eats 2-3 of these a day or drink the left over smoothie.
I love how easily Izzy can grip the pop when using the Nuby garden fresh fruitsicle pop tray to create her ice pops.
