For the holiday season if you aren’t going anywhere you probably have someone coming to you, right? With a toddler I don’t have a ton of time to devote to the task of cleaning for the guests coming to stay sooooo I’m going to share a few simple things that are musts for making the area they stay in feel and look clean and homey.

The Bedroom

Make sure the bed is made with fresh sheets and add a candle or scented wax melter to the room. I think it’s nice to have a TV in the room too, but that’s not totally necessary.

The Bathroom

In the bathroom add a festive towel or disposable hand towels. Also be sure to have body towels available under the sink or hanging in the bathroom for easy access.

I like to have a night light that also that doubles as a scented wax melter. If not I suggest a night light and candle so the area smells amazing for you guest upon arrival and as they get settled and they can see in the night.

Clean the toilet. Toilets get so gross super quickly and I get it, day to day you most likely forget or are too busy. If I’m not holding my child, she’s sitting on my lap while I’m in there. So, I get it.

Scotch-Brite® brand scrubbing power goes beyond the kitchen in this house. They have a toilet bowl cleaning product that is a must and I now have in every bathroom. It’s small, therefore discrete and so easy to use!

Two things you need to get, the Scotch-Brite® Disposable Toilet Scrubber and the Scotch-Brite® Disposable Toilet Scrubber refills. No toilet cleaning agent needed, it’s in the scrubbing head.

There will be a BOGO Disposable Toilet Scrubber Starter Kit Offer at Kroger and Kroger banners starting 12/4 (in store offer).

Need help finding the product? Here are some visuals for you! 😉

You know what is as gross as a dirty toilet? A dirty toilet scrubber. Those scrubbers you use over and over and then they just sit in a holder growing who knows what.. yuck! This toilet scrubber scrubs the messes you’ve been leaving behind. Then you push the blue button on the handle to release the top into the trash.

What are my favorite things about the New Scotch-Brite® Disposable Toilet Scrubber, beyond the fact that the head is disposable? The flexing head design allows maximum contact with the toilet bowl and built-in bleach alternative cleaner with pumice scrubs away rust & hard water stains. This makes the cleaning process quick and easy. And that is my kind of language, quick and easy!

So there you have it, tidy up the bedroom with fresh sheets and maybe even something scented as an option for your guests to use. Decorate the bathroom with festive towels and add a nightlight. Lastly, but certainly not least, clean the toilet!

We are so excited to have family come and stay with us, hope you are all ready for the holidays!
