Being a parent can be is exhausting. I love to just have an escape and unwind from the crazy days. What is more relaxing than feeling you are at a Spa? I’m sharing with you how to create a Spa-like bathroom with some simple decor pieces from Target.

First off head to Target! I know… I’m really forcing you aren’t I? Haha I don’t know many moms that dislike Target. It’s the store you go to for 1 item and leave with 50, am I right? If you are  tight on time then you should consider signing up for the Target Subscription service.

First things first the biggest bathroom essential… toilet paper. The item you go to Target for, the decor… everything that finds a way into your cart.

Look up in Target and you will see the signs for each aisle.

You can’t go to the bathroom alone after having a child and you shouldn’t go to the bathroom without having Quilted Northern Ultra Soft & Strong® (mega rolls) toilet paper either. I love it because it was given small updates with a mega impact. These 4 in 1 mega rolls have 4X more sheets but are still every bit as comfortable and soft.

Next up you need to head to the decorative accents and shelving aisle.  This is where I picked up some floating shelves and decor for the bathroom. Remember we are creating a spa feel so I can relax and escape in the bathroom! I chose some flowers, a glass vase, a metal ball and shelving from this area. One aisle down I found some fun round green leaf balls as well.

Next we ventured to the towel area to get some fancy towels and matching washcloths.

Ready for the reveal?

I filled my tall glass vase a little over halfway with shells. You can get shells from Target but I used shells from the recent trip with my husband to the beach. On top I dropped in a few purple flowers to tie in the flower buckets. Then I added a battery operated candle on top. I can turn it on/off with the quick click of a remote.

The flower buckets are from the Target value area where everything is pretty much $1-$3. You know the first area you see when entering Target that you can’t help but look through. Please tell me I’m not the only one obsessed with this area in Target? I added shells into these buckets as well to hold the flowers in place and give some weight to the buckets. It was a fun way for me to tie in our first vacation without the baby into the bathroom.

The basket holding the toilet paper and the basket holding the washcloths are both also from the Target value area. Grab two colors of washcloths, roll them and then alternate the colors when placing them into the basket. I love the pattern for the baskets because they are fun and fresh. Below you will see I also added leaves from the flowers to the toilet paper basket for a pop of color.

The shelving I chose were floating shelves because I wanted that clean spa look. I chose a matching shelf for above the bathtub. Think simple and pops of color when choosing decor for the shelves. Spas typically do not have clutter, but rather simple decor.

I took old candle holders and added the green leaf balls from Target to them for a unique look and bright pop of color.

What do you think of rolled vs folded towels?

Now it’s time for me to go take a bath and turn on the candles!

Although Izzy isn’t in school a lot of her buddies are and this means more time for decor! So take advantage of the kids being back to school and go make yourself a Spa Oasis. Eager to see more bathroom ideas? Click here.
