Cancer is a scary thing! It has affected my family first hand. Skin cancer has been a big problem for my moms side of the family. My great Nana had colon cancer and beat it years ago. My husband’s aunt has fought and beat breast cancer. Most recently our family was devastated to hear the news of my father in law being diagnosed with stage 4 non hodgkins lymphoma. If you are wondering, he is since doing much better. He’s joined a trial program and they actually can’t find any cancer in his body now. I know it’s a beautiful miracle!
However, I’m not sure there is anything more devastating to a parent than hearing your child is sick with cancer. This is why I wanted to share a company with you that gives back.
Headbands of Hope is a shop that with every purchase donates a headband to a child with cancer to help lift them up and restore confidence during their treatment. On top of this they want to help be apart of finding cures to cancer. This is why they take nominations for childhood caners charities to be a beneficiary for their fundraising flash weeks where they donate 10% of sales to the organization. Gorgeous headbands and beautiful cause!! My husband’s mother passed away from cancer when he was very young and my grandmother beat breast cancer like a champ at the age of 80!

I absolutely love what this company is doing. My best friend/matron of honor in my wedding passed away from colon cancer a few years ago…hardest time of my life. Anyone who gives to these causes has a special place in my heart. And these headbands are gorgeous!
